The main objective of ISME - International Conference 2024 is to provide an opportunity for leading academicians, researchers, engineers, scientists, industrial professionals, and students from around the world to network and have scientific discussions on the latest developments in the fields of Mechanical engineering. It shall provide a platform for communication among them on a wide variety of scientific areas with a common interest in nurturing the recent advances in Mechanical Engineering.

Delhi Technological University (DTU) formerly known as the Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) is a state university in Rohini, Delhi, India. It was established in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic. In 1952, it started giving degrees after being affiliated with the University of Delhi. The institute has been under the Government of Delhi since 1963 and was affiliated with the University of Delhi from 1952 to 2009. In 2009, the college was given university status, thus changing its name to Delhi Technological University.

The erstwhile DCE functioned from its historic Kashmere Gate Campus for almost 55 years and shifted in 1996 to its lush green sprawling campus of 164 Acres at Bawana Road, adjoining Sector-17, Rohini, Delhi-42.

ISME was setup on 26th February 1976 with registration No. 7980 under the government of NCT of Delhi, India. The society aims at providing a common forum for exchanging the ideas, developments, and setting up new directions in the broad field of Mechanical Engineering. For achieving the aims since the inception of the ISME, the society has been holding bi-annual ISME conferences on Mechanical Engineering which have been quite popular amongst the research fraternity of academia and industries. The ISME has been one of the most active technical organizations of the country, which has been publishing three journals, holding workshops and various courses at regular interval of time.
